

The gift of gray...
Gray days are a part of Lubec. That is just the way it is. Fog comes and goes as a regular visitor. Some people don't like it, and feel as though it is a blah day. For me though, I welcome the gray. I watch the fog lay down upon the water like a blanket of warmth. I watch it nestle and wrap its' almost motherly protection around the pines and islands. Lubec, a Brigadoon day!
Looking out the window of Love at First Light, my little gift shop.... I watched the fog come and go, over the beautiful island of Campobello New Brunswick. In a moment's notice, the island would appear and dissapear, reminiscent of the broadway show Brigadoon. At times the travelers appeared to cross the bridge into the mist of a Stephen King novel. It is however, my great pleasure to know that the travelers were about to experience the beauty that Campobello has to offer.
